The 1TB 2017 4K iMac just dropped below $900 at B&H Photo
The iMac typically doesn’t see as many good deals as the MacBook and iPad, which is why I’m happy to see the beastly discount B&H Photo is offering today for the 2017 21.5-inch 4K Retina iMacRemove non-product link. Right now you can get the 1TB model with 8GB of RAM for a mere $899, which is an impressive $400 down from the original retail price of $1,299 and far better than prices we’re seeing elsewhere. And this isn’t even a refurbished model.
Here are a few other specs:
For more information, you can read our review of the 3.4GHz version of this iMac from 2017. The speed boost over the previous model didn’t impress us at the time, but even so, we confidently noted that “the 2017 iMac continues the excellence that we’ve come to associate with the iMac.”
On B&H Photo itself, this model retains a rating of five stars even after 183 user reviews. A review from this month reports that the “Display quality is almost unbelievable” and that the “Streaming TV picture is better than my 32-inch HD TV sitting right next to it.” Still another review claims this was the best value for a relatively new iMac they could find on the internet, and I’m inclined to agree.
The sale ends tomorrow, August 31, at midnight Eastern, so if you’re interested, take advantage of this deal before it’s too late.
